Reimagining Leadership Formation in
Community & Congregational Life
In a time of profound civic and spiritual dislocation, the Amen Center offers a bold alternative: building leadership-rich ecosystems rooted in spiritual depth, relational organizing, and civic courage. Many congregations and community groups are filled with passion and potential but lack the training, tools, and support to identify and cultivate new leaders systematically. Leadership isn’t absent—it’s simply under-resourced, under-trained, and undervalued.
A time to cultivate hope: This moment calls for a reinvestment in principled leadership that supports a vibrant democracy on personal, congregational, and societal levels. When leaders deepen their own capacity they can cultivate resilience in others. As a result, congregations are strengthened, relational ties tightened, and congregants see themselves as leaders and doers in civil society.
The Amen Center will help catalyze this vision. Through immersive training cohorts, mentorship networks, dynamic resource hubs, and innovation pilots, we will equip a new generation of leaders with the skills, spiritual resilience, and relational power needed to build vibrant, purpose-driven communities.

Our confidence in Benjamin and Cameron, their work and approach, led us to implement much of what they recommended despite knowing how difficult it would be on our organization. If you are looking for individuals that you can trust, who truly care about doing the right thing and not the easy thing, who will give you honest feedback and opinions, and that are truly professional in all of their work and interactions, I would highly recommend them.
